How to Host
- To host a game you must first ask permission from any online roomauth (+ or above). The said auth will then .host you.
- Link the theme that you will be hosting in the main chat, either by using the .theme [theme] command or the actual link from the website.
- Follow the theme's guide for hosting. This is extremely important.
- It is recommended you bold key information such as the PL list, who is attacking who, and any other important announcements so that your text is distinguished from the rest of the players.
- Note: Most games will be hosted with the help of the bot Sir Vivor. Rather than the !roll [#] that hosts used previously, Hosts will use .roll [#].
- We recommend you wait about 2-3 minutes for players to send things. If they fail to do that, you may modkill them
- We also recommend if players leave the room, give them 1-2 minutes to rejoin. Otherwise, modkill them.
Hosting Rules:
- Do not mass highlight users in the room to play a game. The "survgame" highlight word does this whenever somebody is hosted. Users in the room do not have to join a game if they don't want to, and highlighting them to try and get them to join a game is not permitted. This rule goes for both hosts and game participants.
- Make sure you have enough time to host and do not leave in the middle of it. Repeated offenses of leaving after asking to host will result in a temporary or permanent ban from hosting. The same applies for participating in games. If you do find that you have to leave during a host, try to find a replacement host.
- Don't modify or change themes while hosting without first seeking approval from a staff member.
- Don't abuse your powers as a host. All chat rules still apply to hosts.
- Room staff reserves the right to end your host at any time.
